About
I'm Emily, a New York-based interior designer with a Master's degree from the New York School of Interior Design and a background in architectural planning.
My work is rooted in a simple belief: the best interiors honor what's already there. In New York, that often means the bones of a pre-war apartment, the plaster moldings, the herringbone floors, the proportions that newer buildings rarely replicate. I don't design over those details. I design around them.
Furniture, to me, is never purely decorative. Every piece I select has to earn its place, not just visually, but in how it functions for the people who actually live in the space. In a city where square footage is precious, that distinction matters.
I work with clients across New York on full interior design projects and furniture sourcing, from first conversation through final installation. My approach is personal and unhurried. I take on a small number of projects at a time to make sure each one gets the attention it deserves.
If you're renovating, buying, or simply ready to make your home feel more like yours, I'd love to hear about it.
